Back to business – I Like You & Artcrank

First and foremost, yesterday was Clarissa’s birthday – so call, FB or tweet at her (@clarissatx) and wish her a HBD if you didn’t already.

The 2&21 crew along with some other friends celebrated at Black Bird, which just recently reopened on 38th and Nicollet. We had a great time that included brie and beets (two of my faves), a little bubbly, and lots of laughs. If you like good food, good brew, antlers, and mirrors – it’s definitely a place to see and be seen.

But now that it’s the 3rd, it’s time to get back to business – so let’s start with a business announcement:

Tonight we’re heading to I Like You to fill out some paper work and actually start selling our cards at a fo’ real store! Assuming there are no hang-ups, the cards should be in stock tomorrow for your purchasing pleasure. Needless to say, we’re pumped to have our paper babies next to the creations of a ton of other talented MPLS folk.

We’ve also been accepted to Artcrank, which is “A Poster Party for Bike People” that started in Minneapolis and has grown to international proportions. The show isn’t until April, but we’ve already started brainstorming. During our printing session last weekend, we came up with some really good ideas – so now it’s just deciding and doing.

Last order of business is that we’re recommitting to the blog with a writing schedule. (That I already failed to stick to. Shhhhh! Don’t tell P & C.) Every month you’ll hear from each of us in this order….

Michelle – The 2nd

Peter – The 12th

Clarissa – The 21st

So check back for more updates. We’ve got a lot of things in the works, so there’s a lot to write about.

Also, stop in I Like You and check out our cards (and all the other great stuff)!
